Ford UK designed the Comuta in 1967 as a non-polluting car for urban and suburban motoring. Powered by four 12-volt 85 amp lead batteries, when fully charged the car had a range of 60 kilometers (37 mi) at a speed of 40 kilometers per hour (25 mph), and was capable of a maximum speed of 60 kilometers per hour (37 mph). As an experimental car only two Comutas were made, designed and built at Ford’s Dunton Technical Centre, near Laindon. #weirdcarmastodon


@thierryattard All I know about that series is hearsay, since it appeared here without any introduction and vanished just as quickly … that it was a series proposed by Brian Clemens but no UK network would pick it up. So he changed his English lord into a German count, and since the Germans love their Krimis, Tele-München bit. I think it was filmed in English. Ursula Karven was unavailable to dub herself into German so she doesn’t sound anything like herself in the German version.
