Whether or not the USA should promote democracy abroad is worthwhile for Americans to discuss.
It seemed to be a given before the collapse of the USSR. Regrettably, our government was even more captured by the fossil fuel industry and other corporations back then than now imo.
Basically, I do think that Uncle Sam needs a better public relations program domestically as well as abroad personally. U.S. government employees and their contractors should maybe stay out of campaigns though.
Disappointed my Toropets effort tickled no one. I liked it so i guess i should be happy with that :)

Of course though, about 80% of oil & gas in the USA comes from private lands so it is actually more accurate to state that the more of it is being produced under the 118th Congress than under previous ones.
Joe Biden has reduced the amount of oil & gas that is going to be produced from United States public lands.
It is so simplistic and disingenous to assert that the POTUS is control of the oil & gas spigot.
