Whereas spending aimed towards the Democratic Party saw only slight fluctuations, lobbying for the Republican Party surged to a peak of nearly 68 million U.S. dollars in the presidential election year 2020.
This compared to 13 million U.S. dollars which went to the Democratic Party.
The greatest recipient that year was President Trump.
