Together, the U.S., Australia, India, and Japan are choosing to fight for every cancer patient, survivor, and caregiver.

For every person we have lost and for every person we can save.

Because there's nothing beyond our capacity when we work together – not even beating cancer.

I'm proud to announce the Quad Cancer Moonshot to end cancer around the world, starting with cervical cancer.

Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers, yet every year 150,000 women in the Indo-Pacific die from it.

We cannot and will not let that continue.

@skry
Joe Biden is on it.

The Treasury Department and DOE recently announced $4 billion in Inflation Reduction Act tax credit allocations for over 100 manufacturing projects across 35 states.

This includes projects to manufacture transformers and grid components, electric vehicle components and chargers, and transmission cables, produce clean steel, and process critical minerals and materials.

Climate chaos is spurring reverse migration inside the US, as Sun Belters start moving to upper Midwest Rust Belt to escape heat, flooding, and storms: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/sep/22/climate-crisis-americans-move-midwest Lots more of this will come, tho heat and storms are also hitting the Mideast, albeit not so often or bad.
People aren't denying or ignoring climate change, even in US. But politicians are, because they aren't will to broach the only good solution: Equitable Degrowth. We must invent it locally: https://medium.com/@sarahmiller_22747/interregnum-part-3-hope-a17dfb8249db

@MrWtr0102
This story on Banuelos is kind of nice to help get more attention on #J6 but I of course do not like the way they slant it towards attacking the FBI.

Yes, the FBI was not ready to deal with the biggest criminal investigation in our history, heck they should have stopped it from happening, but that's a bigger issue, without extra resources from Congress so of course it couldn't proceed perfectly. The FBI is stretched thin should be that angle imo.

@WashingtonIrving @hindsight
I kind of admire Hindsight's ability to ignore the present by asserting that the past explains the present.

Seriously, though they do provide a good example of how difficult it is for people to admit to themselves that they've fallen for political technology so badly that they've begun advocating against the causes they once supported.

The CASE 580EV backhoe could be a game-changer. For one, even though the tech is groundbreaking, there won't be much of a learning curve for operators already familiar with the diesel-powered internal combustion models of CASE backhoes. The 580EV operates in much the same way as gas-powered models and has comparable performance.

Besides being less expensive to operate and maintain, the advantages of a clean, quiet, electric backhoe loader are obvious too.
